History of Macau

Macau is a special place. It was once known as the “Las Vegas of the East” and has since become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Asia. The Portuguese first settled here in 1557, and over the centuries Macau has been occupied by a variety of people and cultures. The city’s unique architecture and culture is what makes it such an interesting place to visit.

Some of Macau’s most famous attractions are its casinos, which have attracted both locals and tourists from all over the world. Casinos have been a part of Macau’s economy for over 150 years, and even today they account for around 60% of the city’s GDP. You can also find interesting museums, restaurants, and shopping here.

Dining: Macau Style

Macau is definitely one of the most popular tourist destinations in China. The city is well known for its casinos, but it’s also home to some great restaurants. One of my favorite restaurants is called Mamak. It’s an Indonesian restaurant and it’s really tasty!

Another great restaurant is called Rao Dynasty. It specializes in Cantonese cuisine and it’s really delicious. They have a lot of different dishes, so you’re sure to find something that you’ll enjoy.

And finally, if you’re looking for a more traditional Chinese restaurant, I recommend going to either Wong Kei or Lung King Heen. Both restaurants are highly rated and they both serve some great food.
